About Holger Hanselka
Holger Hanselka studied mechanical engineering at TU Clausthal. After holding roles at the German Aerospace Centre, various universities and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, he became President of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Vice-President of the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres in 2013. Hanselka is also a member of the Federal Government’s steering groups ‘Scientific Platform for Climate Protection’ and ‘Platform for Learning Systems’, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the German Federation of Industrial Research Associations (AIF).
